Birth
The Birth Service
Overview
As your doula I will be providing 24/7 support via phone and text. You will have me to lean on for education, guidance and companionship. We schedule 2 prenatal appointments where we can discuss your birth vision, birth preferences, and prepare for this incredible experience. I get to know you and learn about what you respond to and connect with the most to help mold myself around your priorities and needs. From comfort measures to birthing styles, we will work together as a team to create the foundation of your birth knowledge and build up your confidence. As a doula here in Minnesota, I can support you no matter how you are having your baby, Non-medicated, medicated, induction, VBAC, or C-Section. I am experienced in fitness and nutrition and provide guidance and encouragement in those areas throughout your pregnancy. We will create a birth preference sheet together and discuss comfort measures such as aromatherapy, massage and hot/cold therapy. Practice strengthening exercises and labor positions that will help prepare us for birth. Also, I can assist you in preparing your nursery, hospital bag and any other areas you need guidance.

The Birth Package
Overview
Expanding further from the Birth Service, The Birth Package offers an additional prenatal visit and 2 days of support at home after delivery. After baby is born, transitioning home can feel like an entirely new mountain to climb. We focus so much on the birth of the baby that we forget about planning for when baby is home! Breastfeeding, meal planning, household management, laundry, and more are all things we don't always have a back up plan for. Postpartum recovery is just that, RECOVERY. As a new mother, you need time to heal and recover from birth, time to adjust to breastfeeding, and an abundant amount of loving support. Partner's also need this time to bond with their new babies and adjust to the exciting change. Having support from pregnancy through postpartum makes all the difference for long term success. I have designed many packages that include all of this support. No one should do it alone. It takes a Village!
