I'm Rachele Brown.
Woman, Wife, Mother, Chef, Teacher, Intern, Homesteader Extraordinaire or as my husband likes to call me, Domestic Goddess!
I live with my husband, two boys, and an ever growing number of animals on our one acre slice of heaven in Elk River. I'm a self proclaimed Crunchy Enthusiast, currently studying in Prenatal Yoga, and practicing Healing Touch Energy while interning and advancing my Birth Doula skills working side by side Doula Jen.
Nurturing is at the core of who I am. Be it in the form of whole food meals prepared for my family or others, caring for my nearly one hundred indoor plants, the summer garden, or guiding woman through pregnancy and birth, it is my hope to inspire others to reclaim motherhood and the joy and fulfillment of a life lived slowly at home.
It has been our sixteen year dream to live sufficiently on a small homestead, and I'm proud to say that we are actively looking for a place to call home. I feel called to bring health and healing to rural Minnesota, and for me it all begins with birth work.
My goal is to expand the current idea of what birth support looks like. To give holistically minded families a safe space to welcome a new member of the family in an ever changing and unsteady world. It is my intentional decision to provide services outside of the current systems, and as you may notice, to NOT be conventionally trained by them. I look forward to learning from a community of woman like Jen, and the mother's she works with, as the best way for me to begin sharing and reclaiming the power of motherhood in my own life.
Thank you for this opportunity to support and grow our community.
