A woman's body is magnificent and powerful. Everyday, I witness women told otherwise. That their bodies are flawed, that they aren't strong enough, or capable, or even that their body doesn't know what to do. These are all falsehoods.​

Fear doesn't belong in birth.​

We were never meant to approach birth with overwhelming anxiety and crippling fear of the unknown. We were meant to surrender to a deep instinctual knowledge that is embedded within us. The strength is already built in. Your body and your baby know what to do.​

During our time together, we will have many opportunities to build relationship, refine your birth vision, and build confidence surrounding your birth. ​I am so passionate about this work; to me it's more like ministry.

 

I want this type of support to be accessible to all families of many walks of life. The Birth Service is offered through a Community Supported sliding scale. Each client will have the opportunity to choose their investment; a price that best fits their family. The Village Doula also offers additional financial aid options per request.
