Breastfeeding Counseling

Breastfeeding can present many challenges in the early days. It is so important to get off on a good start for long term success. There are many concerns that mother's face in the early weeks of getting to know their baby. This 90 minute session offers deep insights to newly breastfeeding mothers. I assess the mother and her baby for signs of concern, observe breastfeeding techniques and offering guidance, discussing goals and applying a comprehensive plan for improved feedings. We also can discuss proper milk removal and milk storage, pumping, and introduction of bottles. 

Sessions are offered in office or in home.
