Hello, my name is Brandie, and I am a devoted birth doula passionate about helping families navigate their unique birthing experiences. For the past decade, I have been a stay-at-home mom. My husband and I have six beautiful children. I became a mom at a young age, and through my first few births, I trusted my doctors and nurses and accepted that all births are painful and difficult. After a very traumatic birth with my fourth, I decided to switch from an OBGYN to a midwife and hire a doula. After hours of research and working with my doula on comfort measures and building my confidence, I can honestly say I truly enjoyed my last two births. Those experiences made me realize how amazing our bodies are and what we are capable of. Since then, I have become passionate about helping inform other women and giving them the confidence that all women deserve. In November 2024, I decided to start the journey of becoming a birth doula. I became an intern with The Village Doula spring of 2025 and completed training October of the same year. My goal is to provide educational support that empowers you on your journey to parenthood. When I am not working as a doula, I love to garden, go out on early morning walks, spend time with my family, and have late-night bonfires with my husband.
